Board Member, Sergeant at Arms, Secretary of Board of Directors, Member of Fundraising Committee and Board Development Committee Dane has over three decades of leadership and experience in education, mental health, child welfare, and youth development. During his career, he has focused on assisting families to ensure the safety and protection of children, the development of child welfare policies and procedures, and providing services to children with disabilities. In 2008, he retired from the Child and Family Services Agency where he served in a variety of leadership positions which included being an Executive Assistant and Program Manager. Edley is an undergraduate from Loyola University in Chicago and has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Howard University. He is committed to improving the lives of children, youth and families and strongly believes that art can enrich the lives of members of the community. Dane is a native Washingtonian and has resided in Ward 7 since 1988. |
